Through conversations with the Vice-President of WastAway, Preserve Chatham County (PCC) discovered that the Chatham County Solid Waste Disposal Feasibility Study published in March 2009 seriously misrepresented the ability of the WastAway system to meet the solid waste disposal needs of Chatham County. PCC has communicated our discovery to the Chatham County Commissioners. Solid Waste Director for Chatham County, Mr. Dan LaMontagne, has been asked by the Commissioners to investigate the discrepancies.
